The popular Victorian themed tearoom in Hunstanton’s High Street owned by Amanda Coral is celebrating its continued success.
Leaving her corporate career as an events manager in 2018 she came home to Norfolk and opened a traditional teashop in cosy surroundings for residents and visitors to enjoy.
Drawing on her experience organising weddings, conferences, corporate events and exhibitions, and with more than a nod to the famous Betty’s in Harrogate, she produces teas that are second to none.
The tearoom is quirky and says a lot about its owner who has a personality that sparkles like champagne. It is no surprise to anyone who has visited that Amanda has once again topped the Trip Advisor ratings. “It is a wonderful accolade and I feel very priviledged to be acknowledged in this way,” she said.
There are Pinocchio models that once her sons played with alongside vintage tea sets and gleaming cutlery. The furniture and the lace curtains at the windows add to the vintage feel.
Amanda also provides outside catering for weddings, funerals, parties and baby showers as well as business events.
The vintage afternoon tea experience is a must-try. Served from Noon to 4 pm, Thursday - Sunday, it is a luxurious affair, featuring an array of freshly baked scones, delicate sandwiches, and delectable cakes and pastries.
