On 30th September the Warm Homes Roadshow will be at Hunstanton's Spinney between 9am and 5pm
Residents concerned about the cost of living, higher energy bills and keeping warm this winter are invited to meet representatives from the borough council who can help people make sure they don’t pay more than they need to stay warm.
Cllr Sam Sandell, said:
“There are many schemes that will help people, for example for homeowners on low incomes there are grants that can pay for insulation to make the property more energy efficient, and we can help people to apply for these.
“We can give hints and tips to keep energy bills down – by making just a few simple changes at home people can save hundreds of pounds per year.
“So please come and talk to us so we can find out more about your home, lifestyle and energy use and working together we will try to ‘Beat your Bills’.”
Whilst the roadshow is primarily about energy usage and costs, the staff can also give advice if people have questions about other bills.
Roadshows will also take place at Downham Market on the High Street next to Boots 9am-5pm on 7th October and King's Lynn on the market place 9am-5pm on 14th October.
