Crane Garden Buildings helps promote youth football with donation to Redgate Rangers Football Club.

Based in Narborough, Crane Garden Buildings, a leading provider of wooden sheds and garden buildings and proponent of youth sport and activity is giving back to the community with a donation of a wooden equipment store to the Old Hunstanton football club.

Redgate Rangers Football Club coaches children from age 4 to 10 years with the aim of improving children’s fitness, sportsmanship and to nurture team spirit. The older teams play in the Mid-Norfolk League on a Saturday and have at least one training session per week. The Club was set up over 15 years ago by Chairman Danny Lincoln to further the game for both adults and children in the area. The Club has evolved over time to now concentrate solely on youth sport. The donation of an equipment store gives the Club a safe and secure environment to store all the Clubs kit and enables the children to be more responsible for the sports equipment that they use. It also means equipment can be better maintained.

Managing Director of Crane Garden Buildings, Nick Crane said “We are very pleased to be able to donate the wooden equipment store to Redgate Rangers. It is important for us to support community and children’s activities where possible and we can see how useful the store will be to the Club.”

Danny Lincoln commented “The donation of the equipment store is greatly appreciated and will make a big difference to the use and care of our equipment. It now means we can purchase more kit for the children as we have somewhere safe to keep it.”

With all the fantastic youth football being played in and around Norfolk, Redgate Rangers are proud to be a part of that and to provide the community with a fantastic social environment for children to play in a squad of their own age but also with the other children, older and younger. Training is year round so it helps keep children occupied and engaged in physical activity and high standards are important to the Club and so all coaches are FA qualified Level 1 or higher and safeguarding trained to provide safe, structured and well delivered football coaching.
