4 Persons Rescued from Scolt Head Island

At 2.55pm UK Coastguard requested the launch of the Hunstanton RNLI Lifeboat in response to reports of 2 persons cut off by the tide at Scolt Head Island, Brancaster.

Hunstanton Lifeboat proceeded to Brancaster and located the casualties. They were taken on board the lifeboat and landed on to the beach into the care of the local coastguard response team. A further sweep of the area was requested. The lifeboat crew located two more people on the seaward side of the Island. They were picked up and also landed on the beach into the care of the local coastguard response team. The lifeboat was then released to return to station.
