Frank Spauls is raising money for Norfolk charity Nelson's Journey, which helped him after his mum sadly passed away.

“This will be a big challenge for me,” says 12 year old Frank from Cringleford, “I love cycling but this will be my first ever 100-mile ride.”  His longest so far has been 62 miles.

And it will be an emotional one too, Frank is riding in memory of his mum Danielle, who passed away 2 years ago.  The pair used to love cycling together, “I am doing this ride because Nelson’s Journey helped me think about my mum and different ways to remember her. I am doing this ride to remember my mum.”

Frank’s dad, David, tells me his son’s a keen cyclist who has been racing his bikes since he was 5, “I am very proud of him for raising money and it will be a great way to remember his mum. I will be riding with him with some other cycling friends so he will have plenty of support along the way.”
