Richard and I worked for multinational companies before running our own business then in 2005 we created this magazine from scratch. We focus our attention on the north-west corner of Norfolk and describe the publication as independent and fair, while others have said we are a ‘trusted voice’.
Editing a monthly magazine is a wonderful job; we get to meet interesting people and publish some great stories. Every month brings something new and we are fortunate to have such a loyal band of contributors covering a wide subject matter.
We’ve lived in NW Norfolk since 1994 with Richard’s family connections going back centuries, and now our youngest granddaughter goes to school in Hunstanton.
Richard and I work with Teresa Plummer who deals with our accounts and ensures the invoices and payments are on time.
Published since 2005, a trusted voice for North West Norfolk, providing local news and information for residents and visitors.
Up to 12,000 copies printed per month with an estimated 20,000 readership per month.

Just a quick email to say what a lovely piece in the March edition Town & Around (p16). Well written and very much appreciated. All Jake’s remote control blinds are now fitted; just waiting on one more piece of furniture to arrive next week and my husband Matt will be starting on the patio next week too (weather permitting).
Dear Elaine, I have just spent an enjoyable and informative afternoon reading the June edition of T&A; a bumper edition indeed! I cannot imagine a more varied, positive and people-centered set of articles that even took me into the solar system and beyond. Congratulations for providing great community communication. Kind regards,
Just been to the Folk Night at the Gin Trap in Ringstead (with Vanessa) and there was a pile of Town and Arounds. The story looks great and the photos. Very well done. I have started using the one of me in promotional material. Thank you
Well done - the recent editions of Town and Around are marvellous. Over the years I have seen many newsletters and think the Hunstanton one is the best - so full of everything.
